In general, you can visit CAE Sound website and access our information without telling us who you are and without revealing any information about yourself. There are times, described below, when we may need information from you.

Purchases

when ordering a product you will be asked for your personal contact information and your bank card payment information. This will be recorded and stored, along with shipment information in order to respond to you about your shipment, as well as meet legal requirements.

Payments

When registering for a course or purchasing a product from CAE Sound, you may pay online with a bank card, or by mailing in a check. If you choose to pay by bank card, we will ask you to provide a credit card number and related information. As do most companies, we use an outside credit card processing company to facilitate payment. We pass your information to our processing company in an encrypted form to protect the privacy of your information. CAE Sound does not retain your credit card number (other than the last four digits) and related information in its records.

Occasionally a customer will want to provide a credit card number by telephone or fax and ask us to process a transaction on their behalf. Upon completion of such a transaction, we destroy the credit card information and do not retain it in our records.

A transactional email is a message whose primary purpose is to communicate with you about business you are conducting with us, or may be in response to an inquiry you may have made. This means, for example, that a customer can choose to opt-out from receiving commercial messages from us without obstructing any future transactional correspondence that may arise between us in the normal course of business.
